PARTICIPANT CONTROL Remote partners can send cues only within permissions enabled on this device. Motion sharing, vibration, speech, and flashing feedback are opt-in and can be stopped instantly.
PROFESSIONAL ACCESS LAB

Turn phones, switches and adaptive controllers into a shared training space.

Try access methods, build communication routines, run adaptive games, coach remotely, and leave with useful session data — without treating a game score as a diagnosis.

SWITCH + CORE WORD ACCESS

Tactile Switch Deck

Four giant actions inspired by adaptive switch arrays. Use touch, keyboard, gamepad buttons, external switches, scanning, or a remote trainer cue.

PHONE-AS-ACCESS-DEVICE

Motion Lab

Mount or hold the phone, zero a comfortable neutral position, then turn tilt, nod-like excursions and shake into intentional access signals.

Motion data stays on this device unless “Share motion telemetry” is enabled in a paired session.
ADAPTIVE GAMING ACCESS TRIAL

Pulse Arena

Control the orb with tilt or gamepad axes. Large switch actions boost, brake, spawn targets and change traction. Difficulty adapts to success without calling slower responses “failure.”

MULTISENSORY CUEING

Haptic Codes

Build repeatable cue patterns using phone vibration, controller rumble, tone and visual feedback. Phone browsers control timing rather than true motor amplitude; supported gamepads can use actual weak/strong magnitude.

DISCRIMINATION GAME

Choose Start to begin.

Recognize a pattern by vibration, sound or visual cue. The app adjusts repetition and cue density based on recent responses.

REAL-TIME COACHING

Partner Coach

A trainer or friend can send a cue while the participant responds with their preferred access method. Remote controls respect the participant’s local permission switches.

ADAPTIVE CONTROLLER BRIDGE

Devices + Input Mapper

Browser Gamepad support can expose many USB/Bluetooth adaptive controllers and arcade devices. External switches connected through those devices appear as gamepad buttons; keyboard-emulating switches work too.

HAPTIC OUTPUTUnknown
Controller behavior depends on the operating system, browser, driver and device. AccessLab reports what the browser actually exposes instead of assuming a specific commercial controller will map identically everywhere.
MAKERSPACE

Task Builder

Build a short, repeatable professional access trial: cue → expected action → feedback → delay. Save presets locally and send them to a paired partner.

PROFESSIONAL DOCUMENTATION

Session Report

Capture what was tried, how it was accessed, and what appeared usable. Metrics are descriptive performance observations — not diagnostic conclusions.

Live partner session

The invite token expires, but a session connected before expiry can continue. PeerJS Cloud handles the connection handshake; live session data then uses encrypted WebRTC. The default cloud path is provided for convenience and is not represented as HIPAA/FERPA compliant. Institutional deployment requires the organization’s privacy/security review and should use approved signaling/TURN infrastructure when required.

Camera scanning is local to this browser. Sensor permission is requested separately only when you start motion access.

Session philosophy

AccessLab adapts target size, cue repetition and response windows to the observed session. It never labels a person as “slow,” “failed,” or medically impaired from performance data.
